Suzanne Skorheim is a graduate of Cal State Long Beach with a BA in Art. She operated her own floral design business, "A Couple of Bloomin' Idiots" in San Pedro, Calif. from ‘93 until ‘98 when she moved back to Whittier to pursue a career in teaching. She continues to design special events in floral today. Suzanne has been teaching Floral Design and Floral Business Preparation at Long Beach City College since 2001; her classes cover all aspects of floral design, from those who wish to design as a hobby or to those students interested in starting and operating a floral business. She teaches with enthusiasm and with the conviction that each of us is endowed with the ability to be creative. It is helping people find that path and leading them in that direction, that gives her the greatest joy.
